Joyann Aslan comes from Martinique where he grew up surrounded by a loving family. At the age of 8, Joyann discovered his passion for music. He had a strong attraction for lyrical music and he protected himself from it so as not to attract mockery. He has been rocked by artists and bands such as Kassav, Celine Dion, Bob Marley, Whitney Houston, Barry White, Michel Sardou, Mickael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Johnny Hallyday, Pavarotti, Maria Callas, and others. He has always had a special affection for the artist Céline Dion and he was inspired by it vocally. Joyann has never taken a singing class, but he has demonstrated to his entourage his potential talent. With a powerful and sensual voice, he manages to adapt to several registers. That's why he aspires to be a vocal singer. He has never forgotten the wonderful and talented West Indian artists and bands who convinced him that local music was a great source of inspiration. Joyann is eclectic, it allowed him and allows him to enrich all these music around the world. Today, Joyann writes his songs and tries to express through them all his experiences, his joys, his sorrows, his loves, his disappointments. In 2006, he participated in his first singing contest "Tremplin 2006" which he won, not only brilliantly, but also with other competing artists, because they should have founded a group and this collaboration should have resulted in an album of zouk, but the project did not succeed. After that, he began to take a serious interest in music and become more involved in the passion that drives him. Joyann tried to pose on instrumental tracks of some talented DJs and he convinced himself that it's time to go further. His friends and family support him deeply because they find he has a talent to exploit to the fullest.
